Most of us have a bad habit of sending text messages on our phones while driving even though (as our parents would say) we know better. I've actually gotten better about it and I now try to wait until I get to a stoplight to send a text or sometimes I'll pull into a parking lot for a minute to do it. Or in some cases, after I receive a text I'll just call the person who sent it. After seeing all of the recent news coverage on DWT—driving while texting—and the accidents that occur, I've been scared straight. Getting into an accident that could've easily been avoided is no LOL matter.
In this WCNC video below, you'll see just how impaired your driving becomes when you're placing your eyes and thumbs on your phone instead of on the road and steering wheel.
