Jessica Stroup Warns Against Sexting in MTV PSA

Actress and Charlotte native Jessica Stroup stars in a new public service campaign rolled out today by MTV. The PSAs are a series of new ads that bring Eve Ensler's bestseller I Am an Emotional Creature: the Secret Life of Girls Around the World to life on MTV and MTV.com. Actresses Rosario Dawson and Aubrey Plaza join Stroup to give voice to Ensler's work, addressing teen issues such as safe sex, sexual pressure, sexting, and dating abuse.

Stroup, a graduate of Providence High School who currently plays the role of Silver on 90210, appears in the segment titled "I Dance." She illustrates the pressures of being a teen girl today, including sexting, and the need to escape from the stresses of the modern world. See her in the clip below.
